New Zealand Equine Dentistry School Certificate in Equine Dentistry Level 5

The aim of the programme is to meet international and national equine industry need for qualified and educationally trained equine dentists. Worldwide there has been an increasing awareness from both the public and those involved in the equine industry for the need to provide health care of equine teeth and mouths.
ALL equines have dental care requirements and these can be professionally provided for by suitably qualified and experienced equine dentists.
This qualification recognises a broad base of technical competence in equine dentistry skills and is primarily intended for those people who intend or aspire to work as an equine dentist both in New Zealand and internationally.
The New Zealand Certificate in Equine Dentistry Level 5 is an intermediate level qualification and leads to establishing a business in equine dentistry, working within an equine veterinary practice as an equine dentist or as a career pathway.
People who have achieved this qualification have demonstrated the skills, knowledge, and competence to undertake a range of equine dental techniques and carry out the specific duties of a professional equine dentist.
